Website Launch: Canadian Cinema Editors

The day has finally arrived!

I started my journey with the Canadian Cinema Editors Communications Committee, made up of volunteers from the board, over a year ago today. Everyone was interested and passionate about creating a new website to highlight the excellence of post-production in Canada. I was immediately drawn to everyone’s energy and excitement and before I knew it, I was leading the charge for the redesign of the new site.

From August 2020 to January 25, 2021, we’ve been working SO hard to reimagine how the CCE is presented to industry professionals in Canada, and the world!

Thank you to everyone who made this project possible. Leaders can’t lead without a dedicated and talented team and I had the absolute best team in the world! Thank you to our Operations Manager, Ali Dowler, who also endured weekly meetings and ongoing requests to ensure the website continued to be functional and made her life ultimately easier.

I’m exhausted and happy that we’ve launch the beta version today and look forward to building this site and meeting the expectations of a wide range of post-production professionals across Canada.
